Pitta was brought out and was dry when told assistant about this was offered a replacement which we didn’t want so he shrugged his shoulders, no management support or interaction to discuss the poor food quality
Ordered a family meal platter via deliveroo on Saturday night. The family platter is or should I say was one of our favourites and we’ve ordered loads of these in the past. When the meal arrived, the chicken looked horrible-the breast of the chicken was ok-a little bit dry but the legs looked awful-hardly any skin on them and looked like someone had either been picking at it or it had been scraped off someone’s plate! Very unappetising and none of us wanted the legs-it was delivered at 5.33pm and by 5.38pm I had contacted Deliveroo who said my photo wasn’t evidence enough of my complaint I don’t think they would have been happy receiving that chicken after paying £57.95) I’ve contacted Nando's and am still waiting on their response. I’ve posted the photo of the chicken so you can decide for yourselves. I personally won’t be eating here again, very disappointing and Deliveroo didn’t handle it very well either :
We were sat outside because the weather was stunning and had Josh waiting our table. Food came really quick (and I was hungover so it was very much appreciated) and Josh was lovely. He came over to check on us a bunch of times and made the experience really good so we had to ask a coworker for his name so I could include him in the review. Hope to be served by him again. We also watched a seagull annihilate an entire chicken bone in one gulp which was very entertaining.
Maggie and Vandi treat Muslims unfairly at this place. A lot of the customer who attend this restaurant are Muslims because of the food being halal. Maggie and Vandi once took my order and payment and never put the slip through the kitchen. I realized this when I queried about the delay of my takeaway. The payment was taken at 19.42 and the slip for the order to go back to the kitchen was processed at 20.25. When i noticed this I immediately requested a refund. I Knew this was intentionally done by the two, Maggie refused saying she cannot authorize a refund this needs to be done by head office. I was aware Maggie was not telling me the truth as I have worked in restaurants and used same PDA. A week later I realized the refund was authorized and it was from the same branch old brewery quarter. Maggie took my email and number I believe this was done as Maggie had a good relation with the regional manager so that she can give a heads up for the upcoming complaint. Nothing was ever done.
