Feeling that this establishment is cutting back on former quality which established their reputation as good pizzeria. Not cheap, either.
I can't believe it took me this long to discover this hidden gem! The moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and cozy – just my kind of place. The music was playing at just the right volume, not too loud to hinder conversation but enough to set the mood. We met up with some friends, and the friendly waitress gave us time to settle in before taking our orders. One of our friends is gluten-free and was impressed by the variety of options available to him. He was in food heaven, to say the least. We were advised to mention dietary restrictions when booking, and they made sure to have a freshly prepared gluten-free base ready for us. Our meal started with some spicy appetizers that blew our minds with their flavor. The waitress was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, despite the busy restaurant. The timing between starters and mains was perfect, allowing us to catch our breath before diving into the main course. The food was so incredible that the table fell silent as we savored every bite. The portions were generous, and we even had leftovers that were packed up for us to take home. We didn't feel rushed and stayed for a few drinks, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food in a laid-back setting and wanting to support a small business. We will definitely be returning.
We went there for a staff Xmas party (10ppl) Atmosphere was great , food was great, staff were great We all were fed at same time..not off a limited menu that some places tend to do for groups! Parking was easy just across the road. Everyone left feeling full happy and asking for the takeaway menus 10/10
In the heart of Canton, the dough thrower was in a lovely setting with quirky décor inside. The food was lovely however the price of the pizza at £17.00 and a side of truffle chips of £7.50 I expected this dining experience to wow me. I found this very expensive and I know that Michelin star restaurants do not charge that much for a side of chips. Considering the financial crisis everyone is living in at the moment, I cannot justify the cost of the meal. Don 't get me wrong this place is definitely 'Instagram worthy ' however I will have to save my pounds for the next time I make a visit.
A bit disappointing. The pizza was burnt underneath soggy on top. Dough on the edge was nice were it wasn’t burnt though.
