The Halfway - Cardiff

This pub is excellent! We have visited a few times lately for a drink, and while they only serve Brains SA and Brains Bitter, the quality of the beer has always been fantastic. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. We have watched a few football games here and there are multiple TVs in the main bar, all with good viewing spots. We tried the nachos sharer plate, which was delicious and a good portion for the price. My only complaint is that I wish there were more options for Real Ale, but other than that it's a fantastic pub.

Honestly wouldn’t go here if there weren’t so few options in Pontcanna. Beer selection is dreadful and overpriced but at least it shows sport. A mediocre Brains/Marstons pub. Avoid on rugby days though.
