They had an impressive selection of fresh fish, but keep in mind that prices are per kilo, not per portion. For our Sunday dinner, my daughter and I ordered the roast beef, which was a great deal at £17.95 for two courses, and it was simply delicious! I tried the fishcake, which was also quite nice. My husband opted for garlic mushrooms followed by sea bass with garlic, and he said it was really good. We finished off with some delightful puddings and a glass of wine. Yes, it turned out to be a bit pricey—around £90 for the three of us—but it felt special, and we genuinely enjoyed our lunch. I would definitely recommend this place!

I have always been impressed with my dining experiences here. The staff and management provide friendly service, making it my go-to spot for delicious meat dishes and drinks. The ambiance is fantastic, offering a cozy atmosphere for both summer outdoor dining and winter evenings. I highly recommend this place!

For several years, we've been regular visitors to El Puerto. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed, enhanced by courteous and efficient staff. I've never had a bad meal here. Yesterday, I enjoyed a fresh and zesty seafood salad with mussels, squid, king prawns, shrimp, and paprika. For the main course, I had sea bass in a delicious Caribbean sauce. To finish, I indulged in a delightful cream-based dessert. My friend started with a tasty Mediterranean fish soup and enjoyed a light, fluffy hake fillet for the main course. We paired everything with a lovely Sauvignon Blanc. It was a fantastic lunch!

After several visits in the last 8 years this is still an excellent selection of fine foods in the area cardiff. the choice in eating and fine wine is 2. to none and must say that it is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Britain. they simply come from a weekend away with friends and would like to say a special thank you to the employees and paulina our waitress for the search for us. Lovely food , very busy , the staff were amazing changing two meals that weren't liked without cost too us , staff went an extra mile . I can understand why it's got good reviews
