Uncommon Ground Coffee Roastery

A lovely experience. A delightful find in Cardiff and to me, far better than most of the big chain cafes. The atmosphere was really welcoming and the staff were friendly (26/5/23). I cannot say enough about the decor and the reuse of old kettles as lamp shades. There was comfy seating for patrons who wanted to take a load off their feet, as well as work space made for digital nomads of which they were a few. I enjoyed the coffee and croissant whilst journaling and taking things easy. May well go back for pancakes and brush before I leave in a couple days.

Wonderful coffee shop. Incredible coffee easily the best in Cardiff! Small but perfectly formed food menu. Plenty of delicious cakes to choose from. Comfy sofas, tables, work spaces, bar stools take your pick. You can't go wrong here.

This independent coffee shop was delightful. The flat white incredibly smooth with a thick espresso crema and a rich aftertaste nicely balanced with the foamed milk. I had this accompanied with a sticky bun which had a cinnamon and mild orange infusion like taste. The decor is unique, with a vintage theme and clean cut design.

I don't want to give a 5 star review but I genuinely, cannot, think of a way to improve on the house espresso coffee blend. The food is good quality (the chocolate orange brownies are divine) and the ambience works, with decent background music, for the rare occasions the shop is quiet. If you value good coffee, then pay a visit.

Cool little stop for coffee. Great decor and vibe, not too busy when I was there. Coffee was great. Not tried the food yet but I've seen and heard very good things!
