Wagamama - Cardiff

I have been to this Wagamama's many times over the years always a good standard of service, food and drink. We visited before a show last night. Served by Curtis, who was quick to get us to our seat. Food came out in the usual Wagamama's way, but was pretty quick. The food was delicious. A good start to the evening and perfect for a pre show meal.

Im a regular with wagamama but my first time visiting the cardiff bay branch. I always love the food, especially the chilli squid, but i want to give a special shout out to one of your workers…A young man by the name of curtis served me and my partner. He made our experience so comfortable, his knowledge of the menu is impressive and he was non stop making time for other customers. A shinning light on a great experience. I recently dined at Wagamama's at Mermaid Quay and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious as always, but unfortunately my youngest son had to wait longer than the rest of us for his meal. The manager, who we believe was named Kurt, kindly took his meal off our bill and gave us a discount, which we greatly appreciated. My son even described him as the kindest man he had ever met. The service was fantastic overall, thank you so much.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible from beginning to end. The young lady with blue hair was incredibly rude and lacked basic customer service skills. It took over an hour and a half for us to receive our meals, and the overall system of the restaurant was chaotic. I would recommend avoiding this establishment and instead visiting a nearby Chinese or Japanese restaurant for a better experience. If you do decide to dine here, be cautious of the lady with blue hair.

This place serve Asian food. And it is like a factory: quick in quick out. But the food is absolutely acceptable. We had teppanyaki and ramen and both dishes were fine and plentiful. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable.
