Muddy's Restaurant Bar Grill - Cardwell

Can not justify 82 dollars for 2 fish and chips and 2 drinks. unfortunately would not eat again.

Ate here last night. Medium rare steak was well done, and tough. Fish was dry and unpleasant. Expensive, won't eat there again.

Very rude and argumentative staff member. Refused us entry as our children only had covid Vax cards and not ticks on their phone . Us over 18 had covid ticks on our phone as she kept ranting. Not interested in problem solving situation or offering takeaway option. Absolute cow. Restaurant was empty. Good luck to you with you foul attitude!

Stopped by after visiting Paronella and have to say I’m glad we did. We were looking forward to a nice quiet dinner with a couple of beers and Muddy’s absolutely nailed it. We were the only patrons in and one of the owner’s made us feel so welcome by playing some old school Aussie classics in the background for us.Muddy’s also doesn’t do schooners, instead going for the old school stubby’s in the cooler which we loved!!We did have to wait a little bit for the food to be delivered, however we more than happy to enjoy the weather and cold beers on the verandah.When the food did arrive we were blown away by how delicious everything tasted, even down to the pepper gravy which for once actually had pepper in it!If you’re ever driving through Cardwell, it’s worth your time to stop

This restaurant is an absolute gem for both food and service! I had one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. All our dishes arrived promptly and were very generously sized. The staff members are truly wonderful and enhance the dining experience. If you're passing by, you definitely need to stop here for a meal!
