Don's Specialty Meats - Carencro

I work at a pub in Little Rock, AR, and a gentleman from the Scott area recently visited for work. He brought me some boudin and these amazing spring roll-like snacks that were absolutely delicious! They were so good that my husband and I are thinking about planning a trip just to get more! If they taste this good reheated, I can only imagine how fantastic they must be when fresh!

What a delightful stop! My parents often swing by when they’re on their way to Chicot State Park. During our visit, we enjoyed their lunch special, which was not only generous in portion but also an incredible value at just $8! The restrooms were very clean, and there was a wide selection of specialty meats and cooking ingredients. The cracklins and boudin were delicious! I highly recommend stopping by if you're in town!

This place has the best boudin in the area, and I say that as someone who has tried them all. The restaurant is very clean and provides a pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for a special treat, their garlic sauce is absolutely amazing.

I’m over the road truck driver every time I come to Louisiana I try to make time to stop here at a Don’s location today I got the special smoked chicken breast stuffed with Boudin on top of white cheddar mac cheese and field beans. With a pepper jack Boudin ball always a must buy.

We ordered the seafood gumbo and crawfish stew. Seasoning just right. Awesome meal. Chicken crackins of course, mmmmm. Drive thru cashier, the sweetest! Thank you nyla.
