Bamiyan Restaurant - Carindale

I think this is hands down the restaurant with the cheapest prices I've ever been to Australia: you can order 1 main (possibly with some flat bread) and easily eat in two persons. Their kebabs are simply spectacular. And with the words Kebabs and Spectacular I conclude my review. Kebabs. Spectacular.

First time to this restaurant and we will be back! Very tasty food, filling and cheap! BYO including your cooler bag to keep drinks cold. Staff were very polite and hard working perhaps needing one more server. Great to see a local family business doing so well.

Legit Afghanistan cuisine. The skewers are the hero. Everything else was tasty but mushy. Service was very polite and accommodating. BYO is a bonus.

The food here is fantastic and there is plenty of it. Its like visiting an Afghan family home, they are not satisfied unless you cant possibly fit anther thing in. Its a busy place but the staff seem to manage fine. Highly recommend

This is my “go to” restaurant when friends are in from out of town, when we are a big group looking for big table get together, or when we feel like healthy, inexpensive meals. The decor is simple, the tables all of family size, and the wide variety of flavors attracts us to different dishes most visits. Constant choices for us are Mantu, and a Lamb Karahi. The naan is so big, yet so perfectly cooked crisp on the outside, but delicious throughout. The staff are very polite and friendly. Wine is BYO so a filling and delicious meal is a very inexpensive meal out. Three of us recently paid $52 for very satisfying meals including a small take home container.
