H P Bar & Grill - Carindale

We celebrated our Lions changeover dinner with thirty guests and chose a set 2-course menu with alternating courses. All guests enjoyed excellent meals. This venue is perfect for hosting functions, as they have an overhead projector available which we utilized during the event.

Five of us dined at the H.P. Hotel and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Two of us ordered the 200g grazier’s eye fillet steaks, which were tender and flavorful. Another had the beer battered fish and chips, one had a burger, and I had the meatballs with mash, peas, and gravy, which were delicious. The meals were expertly prepared and presented on stylish white crockery. I also took advantage of the seniors meal deal, which included a slice of carrot cake for only $3 extra. The ordering process was smooth using the self-ordering app, and the staff were polite and helpful. We did have to wait a bit for our main courses, but the ambiance of the venue was casual and welcoming. The prices were reasonable, especially with the 5% discount for Monty's Rewards Club members. The toilets were clean and well-maintained, and parking was easy in the large parking area behind the venue. Overall, our experience at the H.P. Hotel was enjoyable, with delicious food, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for a night out with friends or family.

Without doubt THE BEST tavern food I have ever had. We have been to over 30 different ALH taverns in the last year in so many different cities in Australia and this trumps all of them hands-down. The chef's should be very proud of their food and I hope management sees that. The steak had so much flavour and every other accompaniment on the plate was full of flavour too. Will be returning for sure. Thank you!

Last night called in for dinner had a mixed grill. Excellent. Was exactly what I needed. Great to see a decent mixed grill that didn't have to sell the farm to enjoy. 100% Will be be back. Compliments to the chef.

For just an average suburban pub this place is really good. Food is reasonably priced but the quality of it is great. Try the jalapeno parmy. Small tap beer selection but the favourites are there. Good TAB and Gaming room both situated away from the main dining which is great. Very friendly staff.
