Red Galanga Asian Cuisine - Carindale

That was all very nice. we had the black bell and Thai rice. our daughter is gluten free and had the prawn pad thai, it was great. had alway saw the mass and now we know why, eating was fantastic and full of...flavour portion sizes good. it is byo so they don't forget their wee.

What a shame. we have been eating in red galanga for several years, but the last three (probably more) visits were such a disappointment. it remains one of the best Thai restaurants in which we were, but it is now so bad of...service that we are now confronted with the search for an alternative. we have eaten in this restaurant weekly for the last 2 or 3 years, friends brought, friends said, friends made eveything to support them (by kovid etc.) today was our order 2 starter and 2 main courses. a 2 hours exercise. probably better than the last itme if they have forgotten our order! they have accused of eating (every night there were 4, 5 or 6 drivers outside), but forget the dinner that they do not lose 30% to their loyal customers. really, really disappointed to lose this wonderful restaurant from our list of restaurants, but I fear we are in business and if we were to treat our customers so we would lose them. exactly what happened today! 1 too many misfortunes I fear.

After having eaten many paints in the red galangal in bulimba, this restaurant chose for a special birthday dinner with two friends who had not enjoyed it. we loved the fresh ingredients, strong aromes and perfectly cooked dishes. great variety. good service.

A group of six of us went to dinner last night and we sat near the server area. eating is good thai, but our experience wasn't good. we all found the inside extremely loud and...an unpleasant culinary experience, and it wasn't because of the poor of other customers it was because of a certain employee. she didn't wear a name mark, but seemed to be responsible for the server area. they would scream constantly with a high vote back into the kitchen and at the end we found it very annoying. red galanga management: they should train their personal to take their customers into account.

Dined at Red Galanga with family members late November and was amazed at the quality of the food.We all had different dishes and it appeared everyone was very happy with their choices.I had the calamari entree and the pork belly main course both of which...were delicious and also tried the king prawn salad which was equally good.Prices are fair for the quality and the bonus is BYO wine and beer for a $3 corkage charge. The only downside is it's a bit noisy but who cares when the food is so good. Highly recommended and definately will be returning.
