Even though I’ve had many coffees in my time, this was the worst I’ve ever had. The taste lingered all afternoon. I told the waitress how bad it was and said we would never come back. They apologized and looked embarrassed. The restaurant was full, so I didn’t bother complaining to the chef. Despite numerous negative reviews over the years, the place remains crowded. Are we the only ones with good taste, or do others just not care? Avoid the Shingle Inn in Chermside if you value quality.

The woman claiming to be the Supervisor at the Indian restaurant in Chermside shopping centre needs to improve her customer service skills. I was shocked when she charged me $0.70 to toast the wrap I ordered. It felt like a rip-off. The hashbrown I paid $3.00 for was also disappointing - a small, microwaved one that tasted terrible. I will not be returning and will be warning others to avoid this place.
