Food Xchange - Caringbah

The presentation was impressive and the taste was good, which is what really counts, right? However, the restaurant really needs to address the dirty metal fence decor behind the cushioned seats. It was covered in dust and looked like an abandoned food store. I wouldn't want dust falling into my meal! There are also some interesting options on the menu, like build-your-own salad bowls and burgers, which I plan to try next time. Let’s just hope they’ve cleaned up by then!

I really enjoy the make-your-own salad option; it's perfect for lunch or dinner on the go. I ordered the classic beef, while my friend chose the Portuguese chicken. The food arrived fairly quickly, which was fantastic. The staff members are friendly as well!

The café begins with a small entrance that opens up to a spacious interior. A window displays rotisserie chickens turning slowly, and the enticing aromas of colorful salads fill the air. The menu offers a great variety for breakfast and lunch, perfect for those on the go. After hearing so many positive reviews, I finally decided to try their chicken. It’s free-range, quite large, and seasoned with their signature blend of spices, which is also used in the stuffing. The chicken was juicy, tender, and absolutely delicious. I also picked up a couple of salads to go, which were equally enjoyable and came in generous portions that easily satisfied four adults. I definitely plan to try the roast pork burgers on my next visit.

Popular place with good food at a decent price. The FX plate with grilled chicken breast, pita bread, salad with a drink is a good go to healthy option. Good to eat in or takeaway.

Love the make your own salads. Love the coffee. Probably a little bit overpriced for food in Caringbah. But still great overall and our local.
