We have joined the line for food, I did not like all people standing eye height to the desserts as you wait in line, a part of that staff was very nice and helpful. The chicken was amazing, waffles were fresh and fluffy. It is only sad that they close their doors to 2.28.19, so come before.
I took my mother into law here for her birthday and it was a hit!! I was able to come early and decorate before she got there without any problems. My mother is also a religious woman, so it was very comforting to listen to Christian music when we came in. She was also born and raised in the south, so it was important to me to bring her somewhere authentic!!! She was impressed by everything to the lemonade she drank, Saying This is how they make it south. Last but not least, the waitress Bretagne was friendly and patient with us and the owner stopped by and said halloduri at dinner. Southern quality with Southern Hospitality, what could you ask more?! Thank you for having us!! The O
I was dying for a real roasted chicken. Not fast food, frozen fried chicken, which is fat and tasteless. I went to LL Dent. It is a cozy, clean restaurant that is fought between Five Guys and Red Lobster (that no real Long Islander would ever eat). The waiting staff (actually a very polite young gentleman) was very accommodating. The owner comes out regularly and checks if everything is good and everyone is satisfied with his food. It is a personal note that you rarely see more. Many of the customers are regular (good sign). I had the fried chicken. It was incredible. Not greasy, perfectly cooked. The potatoes were fresh like the Yams. The service is not fast, as real good food needs time to cook. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it. I'll be the guy with the chicken leg in my hand! Update: The good people who managed this place have retired and the restaurant is no longer.
Large southern place, food flavor are well balanced and atmosphere is filled with real southern hospitality. Our server Brandon very nice Your husband and service was great!
The Cajun chicken is delicious. However. The attitude of the chef and the man at the desk was very impolite. I drove 30 minutes to try this food out but I was disappointed by their behavior. For a Saturday evening the place was pretty empty and I feel like it was because of the owners attitude because it's definitely not the food. The food was great, but it wasn't good enough for me to return and spend that amount of money to be treated like a nuisance especially since I drove that far. It's unfortunate they weren't better with customer service otherwise they'd have a loyal customer. But good food isn't rare and I didn't deserve the attitudes. Won't be returning unless I'm in the area and feel for southern cooking
