Houghton Hall Garden Centre - Carlisle

Fantastic garden centre. Gorgeous Christmas display and the restaurant was the best I’ve experienced in the area.

A wide selection of gardening bits and pieces, great butchers, pleasant café/restaurant slightly pricey for the cakes

This centre is extremely cute and a great place to stop over on a long road trip. The veg stall outside has the best fresh strawberry milk and produce. I'll be stopping over whenever I drive back to uni.

Great day out, had a beautiful breakfast , lots of lovely things . Staff in the restaurant were soo friendly and helpful .

Great place to stop for food, the dishes are fantastic and hearty. Plenty seeing in the cafe but can get busy at times. They operate a reserved table system so that you grab your table and number first then go and order to ensure you have a seat. Didn't get too much of a look round the center on this visit but the Christmas selection was tremendous!
