Tesco Cafe - Carlisle

Popped in for a coffee and bite to eat. Felt like being in a cattle market. No manners, not friendly and rushed through like we were cattle. Come back Costa, all is forgiven!

I stopped at this restaurant during a long drive from the Highlands to London, hoping for quick service, a warm meal instead of just a sandwich, and affordable prices. It delivered exactly what we were looking for - delicious macaroni cheese, a flavorful burger, and plenty of tea. The prices were reasonable, we didn't have to wait long for the bill, and the place was very clean. I would definitely stop here again without any hesitation.

After finishing work, I went to Tesco around ten to five with two companions. We were disappointed to be told that there was no cooked food available, which has happened before. The restaurant used to be much better.

Had a breakfast as did my husband .....yes it was cooked (just) but the eggs were like rubber and the sausages were pale not cooked well at all .....I complained and got 2 more sausages only one of which was cooked correctly and it was cold and the first woman I told ignored me ...wont be back and wont recommend

We nearly always stop here while traveling North or South as it’s not far off the motorways Junction 43. This visit we both had a cooked breakfast and Americano coffees all of which were good and great value for money. The staff were pleasant and the service was very efficient. Also the Tesco fuel is a lot cheaper than motorway service station prices.
