All Subs are good, try the Firehouse Chili! It is an extraordinary experience on its own. For no reason to get a Pickle Bucket, it's funny! It's a 5 gallon bucket, but it's going to be a good thing)
This firework Subs suck the employees don?t care the waiting time is extremely slow. Especially when the district manager is there, she does nothing, but complain how much she hates her job and life. I don't think that?s very professional or respectful for customers. A manager should feel the workplace and the environment more comfortable for any person in the shop. Iss LITERALLY THEIR JOB. Every time I get in there, the district manager makes the workplace so stressful for their employees. I think these fireworks subsections should be so much more successful without the district manager Laura Rutledge.
I'm sorry to say it, but this place is a bit of a train wreck. We don't come here often because it's far away, but the last couple of times were pretty disappointing. Long waiting times and confusion in the register, how to create jobs, seem to have become common here. I had a voucher for a free birthday party, but the person in the register could not find out how to redeem it. The last time we had eaten here (a month ago), the subs were not very good, which was the last straw that had left us from returning here at any time soon. This is a shame, because Firehouse Subs are usually quite good, and this is the only location in the area.
This was not only the worst experience with a Firehouse Subs, but with any restaurant specializing in sub-sandwiches. It took two employees to work the register, and neither seemed to be in training, as they discussed what to do. Watching the sandwich manufacturers was more laughable as they spent more time staring at each other, the floor, or the ingredients for the sandwiches that they do not. Not only have I waited for fifty minutes for a simple hook and ladder, but I talked to other girls they waited for over an hour.
My wife and I went to lunch and were mostly ignored in the checkout waiting to place our order. We were the only customers in the store. When the employee finally came to take our order, she was as if she didn't want it. She and the other employee treated us both as if we were such a break on her day. We were from another race and you could feel their hatred against us. The demeanor, the behaviour, the attitude and the body language reflected such a contempt for our presence.
