Redd's Smokehouse Bbq - Carlisle

I was so disappointed in our take out meal today. Chicken tenders for kids were almost burnt. The kids love Mac and cheese, they wouldn't even eat it. Why put spice in Mac and cheese? Especially fir kids. Ribs were dry. So upsetting for the price. Won't be going back. Everyone always says how good it is. I disagree

While visiting Carlisle on business, I checked out the local food scene and read this was a good place to go. I was hesitant as I was one of three people in there on a Saturday afternoon. Nonetheless, I ordered the 3 meat sampler with the brisket, the ribs, and the smoked wings. For my sides, I ordered the Mac and Cheese and coleslaw. The sides were good, but they are sides. The ribs were good, had a peppery bark and good smoke ring. The wings were my favorite of the three meats. Cooked well, smokey flavor, peppery rub to them. The brisket, I feel was a little dry. There are four different sauces. I liked the spicy tomato bbq on the brisket and ribs. The honey mustard was good on the wings but you should play and decide for yourself. No alcoholic drinks but it is BOYB.

Redds provided in house catering for our party of nearly 50 after my father's celebration of life. The service and food were impeccable and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The middle of the restaurant (the bar area) provided a semi private area for our group. They also provided a delicious Veg option.
