Country Kitchen - Carlow

The restaurant is very clean and nice. The food was good, and the staff were friendly. It's a great spot to stop by while shopping in town, or to meet up with friends for a coffee.

Ordered a Lazanga dish it was fabulous, so tasty fresh proper home cooked food! My friends ordered toasted sandwiches which were done to perfection. One tried my lazanga and loved it so much she got one to takeaway. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Highly recommend here! P.S try the coffee cake it was fab too again proper homemade!

We have been visiting the Country Kitchen Restaurant in Carlow Town (in the Haddens Center) for over 20 yrs and always look forward to the friendly welcome from Joan and staff. The food is home cooked and served up with a smile. Service is quick and prices reasonable. You can't go wrong with the Sheperd's Pie, Lasagna or any of the daily specials. And if you just want coffee and a slice of cake then check out their Lemon Meringue Pie! Highly recommend if you are passing through Carlow Town.

Been coming here on and off over the last few years, but more recently 3 times weekly after gym for light lunch. Joan and the staff are lovely to deal with. Polite, friendly and ready to please. Hubby had the roast dinner before Xmas while I had my usual (low fat option). The premises/tables are constantly been cleaned. Would recommend here for homemade quick brunch/lunch.

This restaurant the longness opened in carlow at the back of haddens in the middle of carlow town on tullow street if your out shopping and looking for a bot to eat pop in you will get a nice warm dinner if you call in around say 3oclock food does be reheated in mico oven not a bad place if ya dont want to spend big on dinners
