Hooked On Sushi - Carlsbad

Amazingly quick service! Food got to the table super quick and it did not disappoint! Two thumbs up!

We were a party of 6 and the service was excellent. The best part was the food and food choices. We had several sushi rolls, salmon sashimi, vegetable curry, miso soup, cucumber salad, tempura shrimp, noodle bowl, and so much more. Everything sounded so good, we over ordered and had lots if leftovers! Sadly, sushi rolls do not do well the next day! What a waste of yummy food. Our only complaint would be the krab! The fake crab was in all of the rolls. California Roll with (fill in the blank) on top. When you read the menu, it doesn’t sound like that, but that’s what it was! Tasty, but..... We will return! And we highly recommend it. The salmon sashimi and sushi melted in our mouths. The curry was delicious! The noodles were perfect! No tempura leftovers! Salads were yummy. Miso soup was yummy! We all left so full we could barely walk, but really needed to!

In my opinion Hooked on Sushi is one of the best sushi places in SD. I've tried many places but none are Hooked on Sushi. The fish is the best quality around, it's perfectly fresh always and it melts in your mouth. The sushi chefs are talented and super friendly, they know how to make the sushi taste the best. Service is good and the prices are amazing!!! If you like sushi, sashimi and rolls you definitely should try Hooked on Sushi!!!
