We had a wonderful time at our family dinner. Marcos, our server, was knowledgeable about the menu and had a fantastic attitude—definitely some of the best service we've encountered in California. The food was delicious, and we loved sampling all the salsas and dips (we even called it a salsa flight!). We'll definitely be returning for another margarita!

We were initially told there would be a 50-minute wait due to happy hour, but we were seated in just 15 minutes. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We absolutely love the chips with jalapeño cheese sauce and salsa; it was as delicious as we remembered. I ordered the Chili Verde with both corn and flour tortillas, and I appreciated that they make the corn tortillas in-house. They were excellent, though I prefer the corn tortillas over the flour. The Chili Verde had a nice level of spice—not too hot, but definitely noticeable. I also enjoyed their beans, and the rice was tasty as well. My daughter had a chicken and beef enchilada, which she finished quickly. My son had two fish tacos that looked amazing and polished them off entirely. My wife opted for the El Jefe combination platter, which included Carne Asada, a tamale, and an enchilada. She loved every bite of it. I tried the Carne Asada, which was cooked perfectly to medium rare—a feat especially impressive for such a thin cut of beef. It was juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The tamale was fantastic and not dry, and the enchilada was great too. I ordered a Space Dust beer, while the kids tried two virgin mango daiquiris, but they found them too sour. My wife had a piña colada, which was fabulous. We wished we had room for dessert, but that wasn't in the cards. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were nice.
