Feedback gevenNot my favorite dining experience. I asked for a medium-sized rare steak and it was done very well. no pink. very disappointing for a $100 steak. in addition, the sides left much to wish.
We were very excited and hopeful about polo but very disappointed! the restaurant is exactly the same as west steakhouse, that was nice, but eating was not very good. the escargot was good, not great. the Caesar salad was at best average and the steak was clearly undercut as the spinach side dish. I can cook a much better steak dinner at home for 1 4 the price. if they want to be a top-steakhouse, they need big changes. bobs chiffelhaus ruth’s chris are superior imo.
The experience was amazing! we were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and the extraordinary customer service continued throughout our visit. we enjoyed the duck, pork soup, boneless ribeye (american wagyu) and lachs after tasting fresh oysters with smoked green apfelmignonette, jumbo flower crab with water circles, fennel and a dill-cuber yogurt, caesar salat with sard the plate was exquisite, and all sauces were full of taste. our taste buds were so happy! also the margaritas, wine and house speciality drinks breakfast in belize were enjoyed. to turn it off, we are looking forward to cheesecake and chocolate mousse for dessert. kudos at their general manager feliciano, extraordinary chef chef judd, sous chef vaz, gunilla, richard, oscar and zen! we recommend to visit polo steakhouse for an excellent culinary experience. architecture, ambiente, professionalism, culinary experience and customer service were beyond our expectations. we left polo steakhouse and said that after many, many, many restaurants in the usa, this was the best food and customer service we ever had (that "that something has been said since one of my friends served the food industry for over 30 years and knows all the best restaurants in san diego)! thanks for the memory that will last a lifetime! prost!
The food was good, but much too expensive. waiter braggte that the new cook looks to have a good presentation of the food and everything was fundamentally looking. see better presentation at chili. after the answer from the administration I have made a work on the evaluation and evaluation. I hope they have fun in business. if they are all their customers, it won't take long. they work on their setting and plating. obviously they are both simple and simple.
This was our first time and and certainly will not be our last. Everything was great about our evening except the pouring rain outside. Our server, Paul, was very knowledgeable and attentive and the food was uniquely prepared and very tasty.
