It manages a creative top-notch diner-style menu in an above-average farm/cabin atmosphere, with generous portions and actually great ingredients. Let me explain. You go to a Dennys or iHop, you have delicious sounding pancakes or Frenchtoast or other breakfast favorites, but when they come out, the bread isn 't fluffy and the sausages are thing and crinkled. Also you start thinking about the cleanliness and the quality of even the coffee. Toast delivers innovative and original takes on pancakes, Frenchtoast and more. And the pancakes are actually thick and fluffy. Frenchtoast is with an actual brioche. And the sausages are fat and thick and juicy. Yes, Toast costs more than your average diner but no where else will you be able to find a joint maniacally focused on serving a great brunch (the kids go crazy) at a lovely atmosphere. Oh yes, you must try 'The Elvis '. I won 't spoil it for you.
Wonderful find for a brunch place. Not one boring item on the menu! Superior options, flexible substitutions, lovely space. Special thanks to Taylor for taking great care of us.
Very nice place right off of Palomar Airport Rd. Freshly squeezed orange juice complimented the sandwich I had although mimosas and **** Marys were appealing. Very nice a clean atmosphere shows that the business takes pride in its service and clientele. Funny plug: I needed a pen and bought the check pen from our waitress. Probably an odd question for her but when ya need a pen ya need a pen
A PERFECT Sunday morning breakfast joint. Grab a seat at the bar, order an amazing Coffee Martini, and get ready for some of the best breakfast you will find in North County SD! Nikki our bartender was phenomenal and provided some of the best service we received in a long time! Great food, great music, incredible drinks, what more can you ask for?
My partner and I typically do a Sunday brunch every week. We try to try new places every week, but we’ve been here three times just because the drinks and food are so good. The prices are very reasonable, specialty mimosas are $11 and the cocktails are all $13. I’ve had one of almost everything and the lavender lady is probably my favorite. I usually always get the stuffed French toast combo, and I can’t recommend it enough! The passion fruit caramel is divine and I scrape my plate clean every time. It’s so good! We do a few drinks, that’s why our meal was a little more. The staff are all friendly, I have yet to have a negative experience here. You do want to use the yelp waitlist. We didn’t once and waited about 45 minutes to sit. But this last time it told us to check in by 1:07, we got there at 12:55 and checked in, we weren’t expecting to be seated, but they had a table ready right then. It get very busy, every single table is usually occupied til close, so there is a wait time for things, but it’s nothing ridiculous.
