Il Bacio Pizza Restaurant - Carlton

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is always lively. The staff is friendly and the prices are affordable. The food is fresh and overall, it's a great place to dine.

We were craving pizza, so we decided to visit Lygon Street where it's hard not to find a great pizza. We chose II Bacio and were seated outside as we had requested. After a 10-minute wait, we had to flag down the waiter to place our order. We ordered a small garlic pizza for starters, a pizza with all the toppings for the main course, and 2 diet cokes. The starter arrived promptly, but the drinks were disappointing; my drink tasted like scotch due to the off pre-mix. The main pizza came out just a minute later and began to get cold while we finished our first course. Unfortunately, the main pizza lacked flavor and was overall disappointing. The table was never cleared throughout our meal, and the bill arrived before we were even offered coffee or dessert. Overall, the meal felt rushed and haphazardly put together. This restaurant could benefit from putting in more effort in all aspects of the dining experience.

The pizza at this Melbourne restaurant was excellent, especially as our last meal in the city. The staff were helpful and the pizza was exceptionally good. Thank you for a great evening.

We decided we felt like pizza so a trip to Lygon street was on the taste buds, obversely hard not to get a great pizza there. We arrived at II Bacio and were seated outside where we wanted to be, after a 10 minute wait we had to signal the waiter to order, Annoying at the least, we placed our order for a small garlic pizza and for main one with the lot and 2 diet cokes.The entree came out in around 10 minutes which was good the drinks however were a disgrace my drink tasted like scotch the pre-mix was that off!!! The main pizza was delivered 1 minute later and was destined to go cold while we had entree, once entree was done we started on the main which was disappointing with no real taste or flavour. No plates where cleared from the table at any stage and the bill was out before the offer for coffee or deserts not that we would of had it.In all a rushed and slapped together meal was served and a bit more effort is required all round from this restaurant...

The best spicy seafood pizza n mouth watering desserts.. plenty of it!
