Feedback gevenThe other day, we tried the only restaurant in town and were disappointed. The fish was overcooked and we should have sent it back, but we were in a hurry. The waitress took a long time to come back to our table. Our order was also incorrect and most of the menu items were fried, not very healthy. The waitress seemed frustrated and unfriendly. At the end, she asked if the fish was okay and when we said it wasn't, she still charged us for it. Overall, it was a negative experience and I don't think I will be going back. Not recommended.
We recently stopped for lunch at this restaurant. While it typically serves bar food, the menu looked more appetizing than other places. We ordered the fish and chips, which had the potential to be excellent due to the quality of the ingredients, but it was slightly overcooked. The service was great and very friendly. I would definitely give this restaurant another try.
Buddy's pub offers tasty bar food, but lacks options for gluten-free individuals. Those with Celiac disease may not be able to dine here due to the lack of separate fryers for gluten-free items. The wings and fries are particularly enjoyable, served piping hot straight from the kitchen. The owner is personable and full of interesting stories, adding to the unique character of the restaurant, which was formerly an opera house. With the longest bar in Western Canada, Buddy's pub is a must-stop for a quick bite while passing through.
