Great venue now it's moved too Queens st, nice place.
Food and service was absolutely outstanding. Huge compliments to the chef and Ben the barman. Small plates are delicious and such a nice variety of dishes. Quite plentiful for small plates. The desserts paired brilliantly with a glass of Oracle Spirit coffee liqueur. 10/10. We will be returning very soon to try out the other small plates
Came here on a Tuesday evening. The place had a niche rustic vibe about it which was quite nice. The establishment was nearly empty the entire time we were there. The food was great quality and the Bacon and Brie burger I had would make even Gordon Ramsay sing the chef's praises. Despite this, the menu was a little bare- especially so when it came to desserts- but this was more than made up for by the amazing standard of what was available. Overall it made for a good night out, but boy did we pay for it. The total for a group of six came to about £150 if I remember correctly.
Diablos is a busy wine/cocktail bar with a dining area. The menu has a nice selection of Tapas style food and hearty burgers. The food is very nicely put together and extremely tasty. The menus do change from time to time, but the quality is consistent. Stand out items on the menu include their awesome tortillas with houmous, the intensely moreish Chorizo (fluffy and juicy), Prawn and Halloumi and also the generously portioned Calamari in breadcrumbs with an intense dipping sauce. In a nutshell, Diablos is a quality eating establishment with a contemporary feel. During the week, it's nice and quiet, cosy and relaxed with a casual vibe ideal for a table for 2. The staff have always been pleasant and welcoming highly recommended.
