South Star Cafe - Carmarthenshire

I visited this restaurant on Saturday, February 1st for breakfast and I'm so glad we did. We received a warm welcome and the breakfast was delicious, hot, and very reasonably priced at £3.65 for a small breakfast which was actually quite large and even included coffee! We will definitely be returning next Saturday.

The carvery at this restaurant is exceptional - the meat melts in your mouth and is served with plenty of delicious gravy that has a real beef flavor. My mother and I enjoy dining at carveries because they offer great value, and South Star is one of the best places for a quality carvery experience.

Delicious! The staff was attentive and the food was of really good quality. The chilli and the huge breakfast were both excellent. The children also enjoyed their meals. I definitely recommend this place.

We didn't actually go in. The outside was enough. We have passed a few times in the past 2 weeks and just outside the front door is only what can be called a rubbish dump. Surely they could clear it away!!!!

Easily the best in Llanelli, tried the others and they do not compare, others do not have mushrooms or black pudding, and the bacon and sausages are awesome and perfectly cooked, ample parking and friendly staff and not forgetting the lovely coffee.
