Agave Grill - Carmel

The waitress brought me two incorrect orders and in the process of serving dumped salsa on my hat which cost $53. Not only did she not offer to pay for a replacement but didn't do anything to provide a discount on the meal. Furthermore when I asked, she accused me of being rude. Seriously?!? I was restrained the whole time. I did not yell. I did not curse. I took a photo of the receipt. If she messes with the total, I will have her prosecuted.

There was nothing lacking in our first experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Salsa was amazing. And I can't say enough about the Margaritas they were phenomenal.

I sat on the sidewalk and had a wonderful lunch. The server was friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend this place for an excellent dining experience!

I'm hoping we just caught this place on a very bad day. We went for Sunday brunch and two of the meals were really overcooked while the other two were cooked fine. The waitress came over with two of our meals and then told the other two people that they were out of eggs and asked what else they wanted and then two minutes later she came over with their orders. It was very confusing and the food wasn't very good. It's a real shame because I have seen the place at night and the food looks very fresh and delicious but we had a very bad experience

I had to go back and forth with the staff, even after I pulled up the menu on my phone. After some discussion, the staff member finally said she would take off a few dollars for me, but she acted as if she was doing me a favor. I've never experienced such confusion over a straightforward order at a restaurant. I think it's essential for them to update their menu and provide better training for their staff in customer communication. The staff member wasn't very friendly either!
