Charleston's - Carmel

Been to this location a hand full of times over the last few years and have always had exceptional service! On my most recent visit, I sat at the bar and ordered the chicken fried chicken with chipotle sauce, mashed potatoes and roasted carrots and omg it was so delish!!! I may have a redo of that dish very soon! The 3 bartenders rotating service did and excellent job checking in on me frequently. 5 s!!!

Service was top notch. Spinach artichoke dip was really good, it had a lot of flavor. Caesar salad was great, loved the dressing. The Brazilian parrot fish was excellent. Everything tasted like it was made from scratch. I'll definitely go back.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. I ordered the barbecue baby back ribs. I ordered the baked beans and okra. The baked beans felt more like a chili. Overall the food was good. All the tables were rather close to each other so felt very compacted and it was easy to bump to someone else. The service was a little lunch. We came early so there weren’t many tables.

Great food and equally great service! We stopped in on our road trip back south. Never heard of it so decided to give it a try. Despite looking rather busy from outside, we had no wait to be seated. Drink order taken immediately and came soon after. Food ordered right after and also came out in a timely manner. Staff seen frequently walking by and checking in on us. Was great to see a place adequately staffed compared to most places we’ve been lately. The interior decor or nice cozy as well. What looked like gas lamps was a cool feature. Bathrooms nice clean as well. Food wise, we ordered: kids “Mac cheese” (actually penne), salmon Cesar salad (ordered without tomatoes), Chicken club, and hickory burger. Kids m c was nice that it wasn’t seasoned, so good for picky eaters! Tasted to me like velveeda type cheese. Salmon had great flavor, and the crescent roll with it had a touch of sweetness. Something in the salad had a hint of bite, not sure if added pepper or was the aioli dressing. Club was good. Only “meh” was the coleslaw side wasn’t very flavorful. Our son inhaled the hickory burger lol the sauce was nice bold flavor, and the fries are like shoestring style which is fun. Overall, we highly recommend, but know numerous dishes/meals on higher priced side of the table-service restaurants in the area. Kids menu ranged from about $7-11 but had numerous options including ribs. Menu went all the way up to $49 (that item was a ribeye I think)

The food was great the customer service was wonderful very friendly people will come back again
