Danny Boy Beer Exchange - Carmel

The food at this restaurant is decent, although it is inconsistent with each visit. The service is mediocre. The evening manager (potentially the owner) on December 21, 2022, paid a lot of attention to some customers, including one who was very drunk and ended up vomiting at the bar, while ignoring us and other patrons. I would recommend going to Sahm's instead if this restaurant is busy, to avoid a similar experience.

This is the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. It seems like you have to be a pretty girl to get the bartenders to notice you, and even then, they are still quite rude. I waited at the bar for 20 minutes trying to order a beer for my friend, but no one even spoke to me or acknowledged me, while serving everyone else around me. It would have been nice for them to at least acknowledge that they were busy and would be with me shortly. As a bartender myself, I understand that it can be difficult at times, but this level of service was highly disappointing.

Super nice place. Ask for Sam! He’s awesome and gave great recommendations on the menu and hit them right on the head. His smile glows like an Orbit gum commercial. Don’t even get me started on the pleasant smell of that man’s cologne. I could just pinch his cheeks. Wink Wink??

This restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of beer. The food is average, but the overall vibe of the place is what sets it apart. It's a fantastic spot for enjoying a laid-back drink.

Well, I found this little gem out in the middle of nowhere! Danny boy Beer works was a happening little place on a Friday night. West Clay is a cute little downtown in the middle of a gorgeous neighborhood. I had no idea it was even here. Danny Boy's has a great beer selection. I had the Oktoberfest, which was apropos. The brewery has a nice selection of bar food and has live music on several nights. If the weather would've been nicer, they have a great outdoor seating area as well.
