Service was underwhelming, food wasn't great-undercooked Brussels (admittedly good seasoning), spicy pimento cheese dip was mild and very much Velveeta-esque, crab Rangoon tacos had strong fishy flavor, grilled tarragon chicken was tough and dry enough to send back and the sauce was pretty bland. Interior decor is extremely minimal and bland as well, worth noting is a large amount of patio seating. I've seen great reviews and pics from here so maybe this was just an off
Location, atmosphere, and patio are very nice and walking distance to Carmel shops. We tried this for the Devour Indy menu but got a few other items to try since it was our first visit. The team/lemonade and appetizers were good; main courses were average. Overall, it was underwhelming considering the higher price point based on locale. Concepts of the dishes sound very appealing, but execution and seasoning were subpar on our visit. Plantains were good. Cornbread was
TL:DR Average southern food; above average prices. Came here for Devour Indy and we tried the Sea Island Platter and the fried chicken platter. The first thing that came out was the creamed corn soup. It was pretty good. The seasoning that was put on top was key. Unfortunately both the fried chicken and the chicken on the sea island platter were dry and flavorless. The balsamic glaze on the sea island chicken was necessary to make that dish more juicy. We also ordered a Sun
Very nice outdoor seating. I love the atmosphere with the over head lights and casual set up. The services was pretty slow, but it was a Friday night so that wasn't a big deal. I enjoyed the flight of deviled eggs, it was very different spin on the traditional starter. The cornbread was more like corn cake with a very very sweet butter. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't very good either. For the main course we had the Surf and Turf special and the Fried Chicken Plater.
