Quiet Monday night. Waiting staff was really friendly and helpful. Food was very good.I ate the dining room, but the bar outside the doors was very loud.
This used to be a neighborhood fave of mine, but I can no longer eat gluten. They're the only Italian restaurant here in Carmel surrounding towns (that I frequent that don't offer any gluten-free options. All the other italian restaurants have a minimum of gluten-free pizza and gluten-free pasta. Dante's can fix you anything under the sun gluten-free (chic parm, chic francese, pasta dishes including ravioli, pizza, etc... and it's delicious. Aversanos can modify most-all of their dishes. They did an outstanding chicken francese w/out the flour and offered a side of GF pasta. Plus, they offer the usual GF pizza varying pasta dishes. Prato, as well. I just had a delicious GF penne alla vodka with pancetta grilled chicken from there. To die for. Where else... Oh! Europa, Four Brothers, Arturos, and if you wanna venture off into Northern Westchester, Traditions 118. Such a shame; I miss La Famiglia. It's a really nice restaurant, nice staff, delicious food, and super close to where i live... but they're behind in meeting the needs of their community. If they improve their accommodations, I'll improve my review of them.
A great family run place just off I-84 in Carmel, NY. The food is GREAT!
Awesome place to gather up.Good food, music, environment. The dining area is situated in its own area, while the bar offers plenty of room.I frequent this restaurant and my only complaint if you will is where the pool ? table is situated. It's frustrating when you have to use a short stick v regular cue.Not the biggest deal in the world, but I am a pool player. Which btw so is the owner ... beware! He's good ? lol. Parking: Plentiful easy. Kid-friendliness: The outdoor patio will keep them occupied..Yes kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs both sides of the entry. The trick to avoid is go in from rear entrance where the out door patio is. Right side of building when facing it.
