Social Cantina - Carmel

Alaska tastes like heinz ketchup, really good ananas marg though! tacos was okay. kinda messy, but I won't knock her for it because I appreciate overcrowded tacos

I've visited this restaurant a few times, and it's consistently delicious. I appreciate the inviting atmosphere and the excellent selection of food and drinks. The staff is always friendly, and the service has been exceptional each time. The margarita and salsa flight is a must-try—they're fantastic! The variety of margaritas and drinks is impressive; you really can’t go wrong here. The tacos are a bit on the pricey side, but they’re worth it. There are plenty of fun topping options that you typically wouldn’t find at an authentic Mexican restaurant. My personal favorite is the shrimp taco, but honestly, all of them are flavorful and satisfying. As for parking, there are some street spots available, or you can use nearby garages. The restaurant is situated in a vibrant area, so afterward, you can take a stroll or head over to Sun King Plaza!

The atmosphere, music, and decor here are outstanding! It's a fantastic spot for drinks and appetizers with friends. Situated right by the Monon Trail, it also offers outdoor seating where you can enjoy a view of the trail. Overall, I found the food and drinks to be somewhat lacking. We tried the chips and dips; while all the dips were good, none stood out as exceptional. The chicken quesadilla was quite tasty, though. The margaritas seemed to be made from a mix rather than fresh ingredients, but the Paloma was much better. I would definitely visit Social Cantina again, as I really enjoyed the ambiance!

Social Catania is an outstanding Mexican restaurant located on Monon Blvd in Carmel. Our Yelp Elite group attended an event there, and the staff welcomed us with open arms. The decor is stunning, featuring a beautiful bar area. We were seated in a private room on the terrace, which was lovely. Our server, Carlton, took excellent care of us and ensured we had everything we needed. The chips and salsa were delicious, and the margarita flight was absolutely fantastic. My personal favorite was the watermelon mint margarita. For dinner, I ordered the Le Verde Catania bowl, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. This restaurant easily ranks among the top 10 Mexican dining spots in Indiana. Its perfect location in Carmel and the nice terrace overlooking the Monon Trail make it even better. I can't wait to return for lunch or dinner. Just fantastic!

I 've been to Social Cantina a few times with friends, and I like it! Midtown Carmel needed another food/drink spot with a great patio since Sun King and Fork Ale get so busy. This is owned by the same management company that runs The Tap. This is the second Social Cantina location with the first one in Bloomington. The space is beautiful and very Instagrammable with a cactus wall, neon flamingos in the private space, and skull art wallpaper. Love the vibrant colors and mix of furniture. The patio seats 100 people, and I imagine it will be busy all summer long as the restaurant is open late I think 1 a.m.? The food is good, but not wow. I would go here for a fun, casual spot but never to specifically seek out the food, if that makes sense. I enjoyed the enchiladas and bowls, and you definitely need to get queso, salsa and/or guac with chips to start! I 'm excited to see Midtown Carmel continue to grow, thanks to locally owned businesses like Social Cantina.
