Rise Roam - Carmel-by-the-Sea

We tried the rye bread and the vegan brownie and both were pretty tasty. Will come back for the vegan pizza.

Rise is a bakery, and next door is a restaurant called Roam. I visited Roam and found that they offered some decent vegan options.

Her pizza was delicious; I really enjoyed the crust and the way the vegan cheese melted on it. However, they do charge extra for non-dairy options in the coffee. I returned to try the matcha chocolate chip muffin and the chocolate tahini brownie, and I liked both, but the brownie was especially amazing! Their vegan pizzas have a delicious crust and are topped with a variety of ingredients. I also enjoyed their tahini brownie, which was very soft and flavorful.
