Gappy's Pizza - Carmel Hamlet

Amazed by this place. Had to make a quick stop after driving with our little one, was glad that we stopped here and got few plain slices to go. I?ve had pizza all my life from everywhere from NYC to LI but never have I ever tasted such a delicious fluffy huge pizza slice. I could tell from the smell that the pizza was going to be great. Keep up the good work, will definitely pass by here next time.

My kids love it when we have lunch here. They love the pizza, and I like that there are always a lot of options on the menu for me.

I ordered Manhattan clam chowder and it was delicious. I was joined by 7 others and everyone loved their order as well. Jessie is a great waitress. Will definitely return.

We came here based on the great reviews. But it's most likely not based on the service you receive here. The ambiance looked nice and there was both outdoor and indoor seating. We walked in and were told to sit anywhere. We sat there at the table looking at each other for 10 minutes and still no one came to us. The server was busy filling sauces behind the counter. There was also another table just sitting there as well. We just got up and left. 2 stars for the ambiance.

No acknowledgement of our presence Lady at the desk appears to be more concerned about cleaning her desk than serving us. After waiting for what felt like a long time for any regular customer, we left and went elsewhere to Three Brothers Pizza, which was a great option.
