Gar Woods Grill Pier - CARNELIAN BAY

Great location with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. The dining room is somewhat overcrowded, but this is balanced by the quality of views, food and service. The waiter was excellent. The food was excellent. The fillet Mignon was very well prepared and the vegetables were great. Very recommended.

Visited Tahoe for the weekend celebrating our anniversary we decided to dine in the service and food was top of line. The dine in experience is worth every penny a 5 star restaurant! ?

We came here because we heard the crab sandwich. I had the slides, but my daughter had the crab sandwich. I was very happy with my sliders, unfortunately my daughter was very disappointed and couldn't finish her sandwich. It was watery and tasteless. So while I can recommend the restaurant for it beef, and the view. Keep away from this evil crab.

Sister restaurant to the Riva Lakeside Grill in South Lake Tahoe. The same menu and the same great drinks. The 'Wet Woody 's' are great $5 on 'Wet Woody Wednesday'. Try their homemade salt-acetic chips and dive. Only bad was the hostess I think her name was Carla was uncomfortable almost at the point of being rude. Fortunately, we only had to deal with her a few times. Our server was very sweet and personal.

This restaurant is just so amazing. Great ambience, the view on the back with boardwalk, amazing food, great service and outstanding staff. My boyfriend did reserve this place for dinner the day he proposed me and we had a great celebration here. Big shout out to our waiter Martin for all delicious suggestions on the appetizer and entrees and for clicking all our pictures. He definitely knows how to make your special day even more special !! The staff executed the celebration plans my fiancee had told to them which was so heartful and also they were happy celebrating our special day which made us so so happy that we chose this place to celebrate. We would definitely be here again sooner when we visit Lake Tahoe.
