Ye's Chinese Food - Carol Stream

Smoothies are fresh and amazing! Ordering vegan was a challenge. I've ordered before and the fried rice always taste different sadly. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Tried the rice noodles, lacked flavor.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! This is one of my regular places to order from. Today was a terrible experience. Missing fried shrimp order and Ricky’s special is usually amazing but tonight it was far from that.. the shrimp in Ricky’s special tasted like rotten fish. I had ordered it a specific way and that request was not upheld. I will not be ordering from here anytime soon. There’s cheaper and closer food places near here that follow requests and include everything that was ordered. I do not recommend this place any longer.

We’ve born ordering from Ye’s for over 17yrs, we’ve never had issue until yesterday. The food was always hot delicious and fresh. After eating and putting the food away I noticed the rice had a slight odor, I guess we didn’t notice because we were hungry. I thought it was me, but when I opened the fridge this morning lo and behold the entire fridge smelled. Not the usual “I have left over Chinese food that I can’t wait to demolish”, but ewww I’m about to toss this! We heated up some of the egg foo young and rice and sure enough it was already spoiled. I called Ye’s and she said they had many orders and blamed my storage in the fridge as being the culprit. I was told I should have stored it overnight in the microwave?!? I was offered a credit for a type of rice we don’t eat, but it wasn’t even about the free credit. It was about the disappointment of spending almost $80 on our favorite place, and having to throw your food out and your money out the door. Doubtful we will order again, credit or not.

First time eating the food here. At first I was hesitant bc it doesn't look too inviting from the outside. The restaurant was nice and clean. Good customer service. The food was better than I expected. Ordered shrimp fried rice, Combination egg roll and crab Rangoon. Good pricing too! Will definitely order from this place again

Warning! If you're looking to waste time, this is the place for you. My food pickup order was nearly ready, but there was no one at the restaurant to assist me. I ended up waiting in-store for 40 minutes, and by the time I finally received my order, the food was almost cold. I've uploaded pictures as proof. Just want to help you all be aware of this place!
