Mr. Crisp - Carolina Township

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and tonight as I was headed down East North I had the opportunity to try this awesome spot out! I ordered their famous fish and chips entree along with some hush puppies. The food was phenomenal, bursting with freshness and flavor. I would highly recommend giving this spot a try if you’re in the Overbrook area. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly and packaged my togo order with care!

Lovely evening at Mr. Crisp. Delightful, hip with an edge of elegance vibe. Perfect fish and chips--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Crisp cabbage salad with some thai elements. The prix fixe menu is also an excellent deal. Service gracious but not intrusive. This is one of the best restaurants in town.

Love everything here. Definitely worth it. If you’re going on a busy night get an Uber to avoid the parking…even with then small parking lot they still get 5

Excellent food, service is usually pretty good. We have been here several times and plan to be back.

Mr. Crisp has a coastal feel, like visiting Charleston by heading across town. They put together great seafood dishes (whole snapper for two), the drink menu is next level and selection of oysters is outstanding.
