Steak 'n Shake - Carolina Township

No more kids eat free on Saturdays. They raised their prices. We got 2 kids ' meals, a hot dog, chili 5 way, a kids shake, and it was $30. Who wants to pay 4.50 for a basic hotdog no fries? We thought that with that price, it was probably a big hot dog but nope, it didn 't even fill up a normal hot dog bun. They make you pay at the table, and they make you wait forever to pay the check. Probably won 't come back. It 's sad... My wife and I used to come for date nights.

Great food but the owners have decided against just ordering and paying at the counter and sitting wherever you want like before. They want it more like a restaurant but don't have enough people. Kinda dumb in the changes. That's what happens when the owners think they know better of what the customers want.
