A small neighbourhood restaurant specialising in bao and other Japanese small plates, perfect for sharing. There is also an extensive wine list. It’s a bit pricey, but food quality and flavours make up for it. Portion size is average. Seating is available inside and outside, may get cold in winter and hot in summer as it’s quite open.
Absolutely incredible food... our table ordered almost the entire menu it was so fresh and on point with flavor. The service was 5 star the owner and his wife went out of their way to that ensure we had a great experience, you can tell they really have a passion for what they do. Cant wait to go back and enjoy more of their delicious dishes. Thank you for an amazing night !
Delicious drinks and amazing Japanese cuisine. We enjoyed the tempura bug and waygu beef baos, they're single serves but quite large and could easily be split. Well worth the . Katsu chicken curry and sansho pork bowl for mains. Both were amazing. Everything was packed with flavour and super fresh. We also enjoyed the house sake and umeshu sodas. Highly recommended, would go back in a heart beat.
Best Japanese Restaurant on the Gold Coast. Great food, all handmade in the restaurant, no frozen stuff, all fresh. Make sure to book a table because it only can accomodate a small number of guests. But if you can’t book, no problem. They also have take away. Service is 11 out of 10. Food is 12 out of 10. Really Really recommend
