Maple Donuts - Carrollton

This place is...I suppose it’s just okay? It’s a small spot with no seating available. Even if you’re a customer, they won’t allow you to use the restroom. The food is decent, but the selection is rather limited for a doughnut shop. It’s pretty much the only choice in the area, and it reflects that.

This donut shop is my top choice for all my breakfast needs. The owners are incredibly friendly and always welcome us with a warm greeting whenever we visit.

Their glazed donuts are always wonderfully soft and moist! The only drawback is that this flavor tends to sell out by 9 or 10 AM, so I make it a point to stop by around 7 AM after my night shift. The sweet Asian couple who runs the shop often gives me complimentary donut holes and kindly warms up the kolaches and sausage rolls without me even asking. They open their doors at 5 AM and serve until noon every day, which is impressive considering how early they must wake up to bake such fresh and delicious treats. I usually bring cash for quicker tipping, but no tip can truly express the kindness of the owners and the joy their food brings to us!

All that you expect in a traditional donut shop. Got a dozen assorted donuts and enjoyed every single one.
