My dining companion had never been to a Korean restaurant before, so this was a wonderful experience for both of us. I was excited to share my knowledge of Korean cuisine while enjoying some truly delicious food. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending dishes for us to share, especially since the portions are always generous! The price is a fantastic deal for a Korean BBQ place, considering how much food you receive. We ended up with some leftovers because the servings are so large. We tried the lettuce wraps with bulgogi (a single serving that was ample for two), which came with all the banchan, rice, and soup, making for a very satisfying meal. My friend also had her first taste of soju, available in both the original flavor and fruit-infused varieties. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, but it could also be perfect for a more formal family gathering. From now on, Omi will definitely be one of my top five places to eat!
This was my friend's and my first visit to a Korean grill. The server didn't explain the menu or how the ordering and cooking process worked. We also weren't offered any drinks besides the water that was brought to our table. Fortunately, my friend's partner had been to a similar place before and took charge of ordering and cooking. The food was decent, but overall the experience was underwhelming. I wouldn't return.
I have only had the AYCE and it's good for the price. Very clean and the service is great they were taking our next order before we were done grilling our last. Better than Gen in my opinion. I've heard their a la carte is great but have yet to tryit.
The ambiance was great, and the staff were very helpful, answering all our questions. One of the waiters frequently came by to assist with cooking and cutting our food, which was nice. However, the grill was changed often, making it challenging to cook since we had to wait for it to heat up again—though I understand this is a common practice. Personally, I would have appreciated a guide or chart indicating how long to cook each item, as we ended up overcooking most of our food. The same goes for how to pair the side dishes and sauces. Overall, it was a fun experience with friends, but it could also be a bit overwhelming at times.
It was my friend's and my first time at a Korean barbecue. Unfortunately, the server didn't explain the menu or how the ordering process worked. We weren't even asked if we wanted any drinks besides the water placed on the table. Luckily, my friend's partner had been to a place like this before, so they took charge of the ordering and handled the entire meal. The food was mediocre, and the overall experience felt overwhelming. I wouldn't choose to go back.
