On Thursday, my friend and I came here to study, and we both bought something. After a few hours, we got hungry and grabbed dinner elsewhere (my friend has Celiac and there aren 't a lot of gluten-free options beyond just desserts or drinks). We decided to go back and study a little bit more, and we were not gone for more than 1.5 hours. However, a few minutes after sitting down, the manager came to us and rudely comment how the table was for paying customers only . We explained that we were here a few hours ago and offered to show our receipts, but he went on about how they don 't sell day pass and how would [they] survive . Overall, he was incredibly hostile. My friend ended up buying another drink to appease him, but I am appalled at the behavior. We had already supported the business, and it was not like we were gone for 4+ hours. I understand needing to buy something for the Wi-Fi password, but this is a little much. It is a shame because this was a great place to do work, and I did not have any problems with the pricing, clutter, rules, or other complaints that are popular. There is another Tom n Toms location about 14 minutes away, and I will be going there instead. I recommend everyone else trying that location too. Same brand, but overall better experience.
Great, quiet atmosphere for studying, relaxing, or a date spot! They have 2 floors and plenty of tables/some lounge couches. Tried most of their hot coffee flavors and so far their rose latte is my favorite! They also have a variety of snacks such as pizza and pretzels with toppings.Food: 5/5
I really like coming here to study or just hang out with friends! There’s plenty of drinks, foods, desserts to choose from. My favorite thing here is the mini custard fish. They’re a little inconsistent tend to be undercooked/overcooked, but the last couple of times that I went they have been so good. I also like their matcha Tomincino shaved ice!
I 've been coming to this place since it was Brown Sugar and it was always one of my favorite cafes. It was clean, plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly. I 've turned a blind eye to how trashy it became once it turned to Tom N Tom 's but my visit today was so disappointing. The food is still fine as are the drinks, but the place has fallen into severe disrepair. Whole sections have been off-limits for a while but I finally went upstairs again today and the floor and walls are disgusting. There are exposed wires and buckets of old water right beside open seating for some reason. You can see all the boxes and garbage that have been squeezed into every corner. One bathroom stall out of 2) is perpetually out of order and there are signs EVERYWHERE in the bathroom that the walls are unstable ????)It 's so sad because the layout and coziness of this place were always its strongest asset and now it just looks trashy...the owner really needs to get their act together or I 'm not sure if this place will last much longer. But maybe that 's part of the problem...they take it for granted that people will continue coming no matter how bad it gets.It was never like this when it was Brown Sugar, just saying...
Coffee nice and just right. Lovey interior. Triple chocolate chunk cookie is divine.
