Sassafras Eclectic Food Joint

Looked nice was excited and anxious to experience the restaurant; however, when they said it would be a lot more than 40 minute wait to be seated , we left.

Sooooooo delicious. Wish they had more gluten free options, and I love that their fish is chips is gf!!!

The food is generally pretty good at Sassafras. I placed our pick up order by phone and the person taking the order totally messed up. While we were going back forth regarding the missing ng order, of course the food got soggy If we go back we will be sure to dine in.

This is a local favorite and enjoyable restaurant. It is on the premises of Carson Hot springs. They have a very robust menu with a regular selection of specials. Include any healthy fish and other dishes. Full bar, friendly staff and enjoyable atmosphere. If you have a visited, give them a try!
