U.s. Sub Base - Carson City

Bill was $62 for 2 12 bacon avocado and fries (which were NOT waffle) and onion rings.

Was told this was the best place for on a budget. It has changed ownership. We decided to try it anyway. Not like it used to be... have decided we won't be back. It seemed like something was off in both of our sandwiches and decided that the cheese must have been moldy. There is a different flavor when it is ... stinky... well... I wish them the best however its not like the old owners food. You see if it's right for you.. hope they make it work. Good luck

My husband and I stopped to grab lunch to take over to the park. It had been a long time since I’ve been to US Sub Base, so I was extremely excited knowing their food was amazing. My husband ordered a hamburger which we had to throw in the garbage. It was cooked on the outside, but not on the inside at all. The inside was very cold. My turkey sub was missing the majority of the condiments and all shakers. Definitely not the quality I expected and had received previously. Very disappointing! I will not ever return to this location again.

This was my favorite lunch spot for years, but the new owners completely ruined it. High prices, skimpy servings, and rude staff. It would have been better if the original owners had just closed it down. Sad...

Yeah I loved U.S sub base but the ownership change really changed it for the worse. I tried it a while ago and was a little upset that they didn’t give the avocado I paid on my sandwich. I tried it recently the onion rings took quite a while to get, I ate my burger and friend ate his entire 12” sandwich before I got the rings. Also I paid for avocado for my burger, yet again I was let down. Not coming back here.
