La Cocina De Mau - Cartagena de Indias

So happy we found this little piece of heaven. The food was great, not at all what one would expect from the lookout. The waiter was a great guy from Venezuela. He was super friendly and helpful. We went there twice in 3 days. Would go back if we had more time.

This is my second time here in the last three days. Kellner is very friendly. Food is great. You have to try the soup. Beautiful surroundings. Family business. I might be back a third time before I leave Cartagena.

We were greeted very cordially... the menu points were very tempting and the prices are great.... we have a conversation with the people who have worked there to have one of the best experiences ever... straightforward and amazing food

I had a vegetarian pastas and I was very surprised by the price, quantity and taste. The presentation was simple, but everything was very good and the owner was very nice. Good place near the airport:

While visiting Cartagena, we stayed in the Crespo neighborhood and ate at La Cocina de Mau a handful of times. The owner was so gracious. The food was just spectacular and presentation was also on point. over, one could not beat those prices. He'll even...whip you up a meal that isn't on the menu. One of my friends wanted sweet plantain instead of green plantain and he just hopped over to the store quickly to buy some. Even the breakfast was delicious. This place is even worth the trip if you're staying in the Old City because a taxi ride is only $6.000 or $7.000 COP.
