Dona Gamba - Cartaya

To make things confusing, there are 2 restaurants with this name within the small town. You would think they could call them 1 and 2 ....? Anyhow, they have the same menu, with some good interesting dishes (mostly seafood). We enjoyed both meals, but found the service in the restaurant in the Faro Centre somewhat lacking we ordered 2 small and 2 larger dishes, most restaurants stagger the arrivals, but here all 4 dishes were dumped on the table together. Since they were hot, at least half of them were luke warm before we could get to them.

Great service and terrific meal ! Loved the fresh octopus on a bed of thinly sliced potatoes! Lovely location by the water pleasant area to enjoy a great meal!

Excellent restaurant. High quality, typical and very fresh dishes. Service very efficient and friendly. We spent a nice time in family!

Maca ha sido una persona agradable, educada y muy maja con nosotros. Nos ha recomendado varias cositas fuera de carta y, la hemos hecho caso. El marisco es fresco (probamos las navajas) y, la tarta de la abuela, ¡una maravilla! Si vais por allí, no dudéis en visitarlos. Un abrazo. Virginia y Éder.

Fantástico lugar para degustar platos típicos. Excelente servicios de mesa, camarer@s encantador@s. Recomendable, no aceptan reservas, hay que ir directamente!
