Every slice sauced and cheeses to perfection. Toppings just adding to the experience. Party in your mouth kinda moment. This was not one. First of all! Upon delivery the cheese was smushed around. Like they pulled it out, threw it in the box, flung it to the delivery boy who shoved it in his car and sped over, just before grabbing it out and doing a sort of dance as he tried not to burn himself and drop the scorching hot box in unison. Second. The amount of cheese on that pie. Gross. I'm all for cheese. A real lover of cheese. But why is it necessary for globs and globs of cheese? Did I order extra cheese I thought to myself? No. No, I did not. The grease swarming that pie, omg. (My father would have lost his sh*t) Thirdly, as if the site of the cheese wasn't enough, the pepperoni just added to the amount of grease. I could barely make it through a slice. Ripping cheese off (I nearly choked) and literally handing my 19 month old bare dough (obviously if I'm choking this wouldn't be ideal for a baby) My bf said he liked it, but he eats anything. Literally, the man has eaten snails and turtles so being satisfied with a horrible pizza doesn't surprise me. We joked before buying the house that we'd have to pick up pies from Brooklyn and reheat them in the oven, clearly this was no joke. I had heartburn for the next 48 hours. Pretty sure this pie was the culprit. I'm sure on a random day I'd attempt to order a pie WITH SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS. Like more sauce less cheese (the way my dad always ordered from this one pizzeria I insisted we ordered from as a kid) and see what happens but I have very little hope. Please. Please pray for me that I find decent food in New Jersey. Suddenly, owning a house isn't so exciting.
The pizza here is better than 70% of what you get in the city, but the people who run the place are why I go back. There aren't too many other options in the area at this price point. The calzones are good, but the sauce they give you on the side can be a bit runny.
The pizza was dry and overpriced didn't have much sauce on it the lady at the register had an extremely nasty attitude also everything was old
I ordered Pizza Buffalo Wings. First time and I loved it. It was soooo good and the prices were perfect.
We dined here before heading to the amazing Tower of Power concert across the street, and the food was fantastic! We enjoyed slices, an eggplant parm sandwich, cheese ravioli, and a very fresh and crispy Caesar salad. Everything was expertly prepared and served with a friendly smile! This restaurant would stand out even if it were located on Mulberry Street in the heart of Little Italy in New York City. Bravo to everyone!
