Sonic Drive-in - Cartersville

It's a Sonic! I'm a huge fan of their corn dogs and drinks! Even though it took a little while for our food to come out, it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered through the app and scored a discount. My fiancée tried the cinnamon bites and really enjoyed them! I got a corn dog, tater tots, and mozzarella sticks. We also ordered a plain burger for our dog, and she loved it. I can't speak to the interior of the restaurant, but the bathroom, which has outdoor access, was clean—a good sign in my book. The cherry limeade is fantastic and it’s the only "soda" (since it has Sprite in it) I ever drink!

The burgers at this place are amazing, but make sure to request plenty of napkins—things can get quite messy in the car! The tater tots were served hot and crispy, which I really enjoyed. I also liked the diet cherry limeade, especially since it came with a slice of lime and a whole cherry this time!

The food was amazing! When I asked for a gourmet dish, they surprised me with a tater tot topped with a nerd purée, and it came with ketchup and mustard as sauce options, along with a garnish of lettuce and a single pickle. It was truly delicious and an incredible value at only 75 cents!

I want to give a special shout-out to "Lili" Liliana. I visited Sonic tonight (July 1, 2022) and noticed that things were moving quite slowly. However, Lili was the only one delivering orders to cars. When I asked her why she was managing it alone, she explained that several staff members had called out that evening, making her job more challenging. Despite this, I heard her treating each customer with kindness and courtesy. I really hope her management recognizes her as a valuable asset, along with the other employees who are showing up and giving their best. It would be great if they could find a way to reward their hard-working staff. Let’s not forget to appreciate those employees who are present and putting in the effort!
