Golden Eagle - Carterton

This is a wonderful spot for a day trip! The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Catherine, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Thank you for a fantastic experience; we will definitely come back again!

We absolutely love the atmosphere and the warm welcome we receive every time we visit. We came in for a meal a few days ago and were delighted by the food prepared by the new chef, Barbara. It was fantastic! The staff were also friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to others.

The restaurant has a wonderful, friendly atmosphere and offers an impressive selection of drinks, expertly served by an amazing bar staff including Catherine, Dawn, Sam, Paula, Rosey, Neke, and Antony. The food, prepared by Barbara, is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it to everyone. The team is managed by Thom, who approaches every situation with a helpful and friendly attitude. Overall, I give this place 5 stars!

On Tuesday in carterton for our usual butty box baguette, but the wait was too long, so we decided to try the local pub that we haven't yet! the golden eagle! we were greeted my scandal that helped us because it was also very busy, we had some nice eating that came quite fast, hot and tasty, will definitely try this pub again, thanks

Great venue for night out, or just going for a meal and couple drinks. The food cooked by Barbara was lovely and the bar staff, particularly Catherine and Paula were friendly and efficient.
